After numerous high-profile relationships, that always crumbled because of Clooney’s lack of commitment, he has finally tied the knot. Clooney realized that he had quite the catch when he met Amal Alamuddin. Amal is a Lebanese-British lawyer whose life and career achievements are very impressive. Perhaps Clooney’s fear of losing such an amazing woman caused him to act quickly–he asked Amal to be his wife after only 5 months of dating, and they made it official a month before their 1 year anniversary.

Nicolas Cage had two troubled marriages before settling down with waitress, Alice Kim. He was with Patricia Arquette for six years and Lisa Marie Presley for 8 months (6 of which were just waiting for the divorce proceedings to finalize). The name of the song Mariah was recording when she met Nick may have been foreshadowing, because in August 2014, Nick Cannon said bye bye to their relationship.
