Many of the celebrities with exquisite, hot, and beautiful appearances we see today didn’t at all start like that. Many of them have experienced a lot of transformation (not necessarily cosmetic surgery) to be what they are today- a shadow of themselves- in a good way, though. This article will be describing some of these public figures, and showing how they went from ugly duckling to swan. Savor the glow up!


Born Kesha Rose Sebert is an American singer, rapper, actress, and songwriter and goes by the alias Ke$ha. She is a super talented individual with an IQ rating of over 140, which makes her incredibly smart too. She came into limelight after a cameo on Flo Rida’s number-one hit single Right Round- a feature that she wasn’t credited for, but helped her land her first record contract with RCA records. After signing with the international record label, she released her first single “Tik Tok” in 2009, which was widely accepted. She has also released some good music over the years such as Blow, Raising Hell, Praying, Die Young, and so on. 

Calvin Harris

Adam Richard Wiles, popularly known as Calvin Harris, is a singer, songwriter, producer, and disk jockey. Aged 36 years, Calvin has his fingers deep in creating many worldwide hits, some of which include Rihanna’s This Is What You Came For and We Found Love, Ellie Goulding’s Outside, Feels featuring Big Sea, Katy Perry, and Pharrell Williams, Dua Lipa’s One Kiss, and a ton of other club bangers. His undeniable influence on music has been rewarded with a ton of awards including Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/ Electronic Artist (2015), Glamour Award for Man of the Year (2015), and most recently, Brit Award for Song of the Year (2019). 

Jeff Bezos

When the name “Jeff Bezos” is being discussed, it is always related to something about money. Jeffrey Preston Bezos is the world’s richest man, and it doesn’t seem like anyone is catching up with him anytime soon. He is the founder and CEO of the trillion dollar enterprise Amazon, so it’s no surprise that his current net worth is about $181 billion. He and his wife MacKenzie split up after a divorce in 2019, and reports say that he had to pay out about $38 billion in settlement as part of the divorce requirements. He currently has four children. 

Kylie Jenner

22-year-old billionaire Kylie Jenner is a model, businesswoman, and media personality. She is the proud founder of the international cosmetic company Kylie Cosmetics, and she has managed to amass millions of fans that played a part in her early billion dollar story. She has also starred on the popular TV series Keeping Up With The Kardashians with her sisters Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian. 

Ryan Seacrest

45-year-old Ryan Seacrest is one of the biggest names in radio and TV shows. He once featured in the popular animation series Shrek Forever After as the voice of the father of “Butter Pants,” but he is most popular for hosting Fox reality TV series American Idol, ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Even, and a ton of other reality shows- both on TV and radio. He is an embodiment of character, talent, and charisma- a model for all aspiring media personalities. 

Jennifer Garner

Jennifer broke into the limelight with her role as CIA officer Sydney Bristow in ABC’s spy-action thriller television series Alias, which ran from 2001 through to 2006. She’s the mother of two kids, Samuel and Violet, and has had a pretty impressive career. Some of her biggest movies include Daredevil (2003), Elektra (2005), Pearl Harbor (2001), and most recently, Peppermint (2018). 

Catherine Zeta-Jones

Swansea-raised Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones started living her dreams of becoming a big-time actress at the very tender age of 8 when she featured in Annie, a popular musical from the late nineties. Her major entry into the world of Hollywood was a through a role in Mask of Zoro, a movie that did well to highlight her sexual appeal. Catherine is the definition of range, and she has starred in various movies playing very different roles. For her exploits in various movies, Catherine has quite a collection of awards including two Golden Globe awards, the Tony Award for Best Actress in a musical, and a Screen Actors Guild award. 

Zooey Deschanel 

American actress and model Zooey Deschanel needs no introduction. After making her film debut in 1999 on the comedy-drama film, Mumford, she stepped up and featured in a ton of other movies, most famously the romance drama movie All the Real Girls (2003). The movie is regarded as her biggest commercial success, even though she has starred in other movies including 500 Days of Summer (2009), Failure to Launch (2006), The Happening (2008), and Trolls (2016), just to mention a few. 

Rashida Jones 

Havard graduate Rashida Jones is a symbol of talent in Hollywood, and rightfully so. She is an actress, writer, and movie director, and she is quite known for starring in many comedy movies. Probably her greatest career achievement is her documentary, Quincy winning the Grammy Award for Best Music Film in 2019. She’s also responsible for co-writing Toy Story 4 (2019) and Tag (2018), and featuring in various movies including The Social Network (2010), Muppets (2011), and Our Idiot Brother (2011).  

Russell Brand

Russell Edward Brand is an award-winning comedian, actor, writer, and public activist. He has obviously made a name for himself in Hollywood by featuring in various American movies such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Get Him to the Greek (2010), and being a voice-over specialist in the blockbuster animation series Despicable Me (2010, 2013). His positive views on sensitive topics on climate change, wealth inequality, drug addiction, and a number of other vices has earned him a place in the hearts of the American people, despite his history of outbursts and drug abuse. January Jones

Two-time Golden Globe award nominee January Kristen Jones started her acting career back in 2007 by starring in the drama series Mad Men. The show ran for 7 seasons and came to an end in 2015, but January, who played Betty Draper had already created some momentum for her career. During that period she worked on a couple of projects including X-Men (2011), Seeking Justice (2011), and The Boat that Rocked (2009). She had her first and only son so far, Xander Dane Jones in September, 2011. 

Kate Hudson

41-year-old Kate Hudson is a fashion icon, Hollywood actress, and entrepreneur who has made a significant footprint in the movie sector. Her rise to stardom began with her role in the comedy-drama movie Almost Famous, and she made a really big statement by winning a Golden Globe and earning a nomination for the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress. She starred in other movies such as Fool’s Gold (2008), Nine (2009), Mother’s Day (2016) and Marshall (2017), and Deepwater Horizon (2016).

Drake and Josh was one of the best Nickelodeon sitcoms of the early 2000’s and Josh Peck was one of the elements behind its huge success. Before starring on Drake and Josh, Josh had already debuted his acting career on the Amanda show, and he has since risen up in the ranks to become a successful actor, YouTuber, and comedian. He is currently married to film editor and cinematographer Paige O’Brien.
